Erin Caughman, PT, DPT, Director of Physical Therapy
Erin was born in Florida and raised across the U.S. before her family settled in northern Virginia. She attended Virginia Polytechnic and State University where she received the undergraduate degree in biological sciences. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Old Dominion University in 2011. Erin has over a decade of experience working with the acquired brain injury population, helping patients to not only develop but excel with functional mobility skills. She has experience working with children of all ages and various diagnoses, including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders and other developmental disabilities and neurological disorders. She is a certified "Love Your Brain" yoga instructor and has taken continuing education in Neurodevelopmental Techniques, motor control, torticollis and advance electrical stimulation technologies. Erin brings a wealth of knowledge regarding rehab technologies, gait training, locomotor devices and orthotics. She is very passionate about working with children and their families to help each child reach their full potential. Erin and her husband, Will, have two children, Mark and Lizzie (you may see Lizzie from time to time at Cobblestone as she continues to grow leaps and bounds with the help of her Cobblestone therapists). Erin enjoys spending time with her family, running, practicing yoga, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and exploring new ways to help kids grow through physical therapy.
Marian Durie, PT, DPT
Marian was originally born in Austin, Texas but eventually moved to Florida where she grew up. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where she completed her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has always enjoyed working with children but really discovered her passion for it when she completed her pediatric clinical rotation in graduate school at Lakeland Regional Hospital’s outpatient pediatric clinic. She started her PT career in pediatrics following graduation and hasn’t looked back! She previously worked in a private practice pediatric clinic in Florida before deciding to relocate to the Atlanta area in 2020. She has experience treating a variety of diagnoses such as torticollis, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ASD, Down Syndrome, and toe-walking. She is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and having fun while doing it!
Outside of physical therapy, Marian and her husband Ronnie enjoy going on hikes, finding new TV shows to watch, and snuggling with their mini goldendoodle, Zoe. She also loves spending time with friends and family, watching Lightning Hockey (Go Bolts!), taking ballet classes, and baking.
Amy Dobbs, PT, DPT
Amy graduated with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of Georgia. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Georgia State University in 2022. Amy has worked for 2 years in the outpatient pediatric setting as well as the outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine setting. Amy has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses such as developmental delay, torticollis, toe walking, Autism Spectrum Disorder, congenital heart disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. She also gained experience in aquatic physical therapy for children with cerebral palsy. Amy strives to create new challenges and a fun atmosphere for all of her patients in order to become their best self. Amy enjoys playing pickleball, mountain biking, watching The Dawgs play, and spending time with her family!
Mackenzie Rush, PT, DPT
Mackenzie is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Education in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia, where she graduated Cum Laude.. Mackenzie is licensed by the State Board of Physical Therapy and has pursued further specialization through certifications such as the Graduate Certificate of Early Intervention Rehabilitation from GSU and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Exercise Nutrition Coaching. Her professional development includes certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid/CPR/AED.'
Throughout her career, Mackenzie has demonstrated a commitment to delivering patient and family centered care, focusing on evidence-based practices to meet diverse health, fitness, and wellness needs all while promoting optimal childhood development. Her experience spans various roles, including work as an independent contractor at TOTS Physical Therapy and a clinical role in orthopedic physical therapy. Additionally, she has served as an academic coach and graduate assistant at Georgia State University, further showcasing her ability to guide and support others.
Mackenzie has also contributed to the field through leadership roles, such as serving as the President of ASAHP during her early SPOTS training. Her clinical experiences include rotations at Ortho Atlanta Brookhaven, Results Physical Therapy, Advent Health Hospital, All About Kids Therapy Services, and Northside Cherokee Hospital OP Rehab, where she honed her skills in both orthopedic, sports, and pediatric settings.
Her community involvement reflects her dedication to service, with volunteer experiences at Northpoint Church, Northside Forsyth Hospital, and various mission trips. Mackenzie has received accolades including the Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship and the Georgia Foundation of Physical Therapy Scholarship.
Mackenzie’s diverse skill set and passion for physical therapy, combined with her academic and clinical achievements, make her a valuable asset to any team dedicated to enhancing patient care and outcomes.
